Sunset hours, between 4pm to 5pm, tend to get crowded for the views. While early mornings remain peaceful, we suggest that you go a little past sunset so that you can enjoy the nighttime beverage menu at the rooftop bar, Sky Beach.

Weekday vs Weekend
While weekdays invite lesser crowds, the observatory may get packed from 4 to 5 pm for the spectacular sunset views. Prices for this are are also a little higher but you get your money's worth with beautiful orange hues on the city's popular landmarks like Wat Pho, The Grand Palace and more.
Peak season vs low season
Winter season is the peak travel season in Bangkok, which is usually from November to February when the weather is cool and pleasant. Summer season (March to June) tends to get quite hot with temperatures soaring above 35°C. But the indoor observation deck may still remain a little cool because of the building's incredible height. The monsoon is from July to October when rain can get quite heavy, but prices for experiences will also be at their lowest at this time.
